Description:
We are looking for a Data Architect who has deep experience in data modeling and database design and who will manage the following tasks:
- Define the data model in operational contexts, for management of transnational contexts of the various business systems;
- Define the data model of the business context of DWH / BigData;
- Define the integration and migration methodologies between the various contexts;
- Define the data catalog and the related interfaces to access and use them;
- Coordinate the implementation and project-progress of the initial design activities from a technical point of view and manage work in progress any analysis and design recycle;
- Write project documents, business requirements collection and processes functional analysis;
The job activities will be executed in the development team in close contact with the customer.
Education:
Bachelor degree in engineering, computer science, math or equivalent.
5/6 years od experience in retail company or information technology consulting company, working on relevant projects
Required Expertise:
Excellent ability of relationship and communication
Relational, OLTP, SQL, dimensional and OLAP databases and related technologies
Data modelling methodologies on Hadoop and knowladge of its ecosystem tools (in particular HDFS, HBASE, SPARK and SPARK STREAMING, FLUME, SQOOP and KAFKA)
Agile software development methodologies, design and architectural patterns
Plus:
Retail and GDO models and processes knowledge
Usage and knowledge of Cloudera distribution
Splice Machine
